Forward Fridays: Movember

On this episode of Forward Fridays:

Things are getting a little "hairy" around here! Noticed the beard on our "O" above? How does it look? Do we look like the Boston Red Soex? Which by the way, congrats to the city of Boston for this most wonderful win. They needed it. #BostonStrong

We're sporting the beard in honor of Movember.  In case you've been living under a rock, Movember is awareness for men's health in the month of November where clean shaven men (and women) go the entire month without - well, shaving! Here is their mission statement:

"As an official global charity, Movember’s vision is to have an everlasting impact on the face of men’s health. During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of millions of moustaches on men's faces around the world. Through the power of the Mo, vital funds and awareness are raised to combat prostate and testicular cancer and mental health challenges."

Since most of our followers are saving their pennies to Feed America, we'd like you to bring awareness to this cause by adding a "Mo" to your logo or blog profile pic and tagging us on instagram under #motouched

You can however donate to the Movember cause (just tell them Touched sent ya!) -  We won't STOP you! We might even put our bearded logo on a shirt and donate the proceeds to the Movember cause. Just let us know down what size you'd like - (we are only selling white tees at the moment)

Keeping in Pay it Forward fashion, we'd like you to follow these 2 amazing men and their journeys:

Harold George, Artist Extraordinaire. Creator of The Funnicks Comic Strip, Creative Director of Gsting Labs - a creative design firm servicing small businesses everywhere with logos, business card, branding and website development and illustrator for Webcomic's I Hate My Kids. And did I mention he's my brother?? Didn't think so!!

Coined the moniker, Bronx's Sexiest DJ for his sexy beats and R&B flavor. Born and raised in NY, he's taken his talents to Atlanta, GA and opened up not only 1 but 2 businesses. His graphic design firm called ATL DESIGN KING and his newly established, The MIXTAPE MAGAZINE, an online and in print magazine for music artists and DJ's to enjoy!

If you've joined our challenge last week, how much money have you set aside already?

Other men to follow:

Shamell from One Off Fashions
Jeff from The JERD

Thanks friends!!
